Obviously I again slack in the blog dept - facebook is so much easier and my posts don't have to have such "meaning" lol.

Trying something new below, I only have a few of these skirts and if you want to buy both go ahead and I will combine shipping after you check out. My website as you know can sometimes be hard to ad items to the cart when it gets busy so I am trying this out for limited item pieces.

I ordered some custom knits this week, picked out the colors, fabric and all and hope to share soon!

We also have shipped our first order to be carried on a boutique website! We are strongly considering going wholesale this Fall and selling to online stores and boutiques. Don't worry, our site will remain and you can still shop with us. This has been a hard decision to decide on home parties or wholesale and I am going to give it a run and see where the wind takes us.

Finding knit fabric here in the US is sooo hard and I can find solids but prints - I swear its like I am hunting an extinct animal in the rain forest. I have been doing this for close to 3 years and still cant find good quality printed knits in larger quantities.

Ms Mother Nature has had quiet the sense of humor this year hasn't she? We live in Colorado and have actually had a mild winter this year so I really should not complain. I just want Spring to come early this year pretty please?

Waiting on a few more photos to come in for the Confections collection and then I can share all the goodness! I really need to get better about this blogging business. It is always the first thing to fall off of my plate when my plate fills up.

My my where the heck has time gone? Really I am so behind and the blog is always the first thing I put on the backburner.....and laundry of course. I have no issues washing it, just despise putting it away.

I am on the road to recovery now with my right shoulder. I can actually sew again. Lots of physical therapy and just time now, hope to be back to 100% by this Summer.

Spring is in full swing and I am loving these colors! Be on the look out for bright pinks and greens and I will be able to start sharing sneak peaks next week! I plan on a release date of late Feb. Of course I can do earlier if you all don't mind waiting til first of March to get it. Please let me know your thoughts - would you rather order it late Feb early March with a wait of a week til shipping, or order it sooner and wait about 4-5 weeks? Leave a comment please - I always love to hear your feedback.

The later release is a smaller collection and a bit more Spring/Summer. I plan to come out with some new designs and pieces shortly after to mix and match.

I am also so excited to share the dresses from the "Confections" collection with you very soon! I hope to have photos early next week as well and once I do I am ready to go with pre-orders! Easter is really late this year - April 25th to be exact, so we will have plenty of time to get these dresses to you after orders are placed with a 4-5 week wait. I hate waiting and if anyone knows me I am very indecisive. Is this a Capricorn trait? I could not choose between the colors so 3 are being made in lavender, pink and robins egg blue and of course then I have no idea which one you'll like best ;)

Wow - so I have not blogged in a while huh? Life gets in the way and when you are a one woman show something has got to give. Facebook is so much easier in my opinion and if you are not a Fan of our page, please join. I have been really good about keeping things up to date on Facebook :).

I am nearly finished sending out round 2 of Jingle Dresses and waiting on the 3rd round next week. After that I will be MIA for a while as I am having a long awaited surgery on my shoulder, and yep its my right and I am right handed. I will be in a sling for 6 weeks so I will hopefully learn to embrace the life of gifted ambidextrous people all over the world. You think I have typos now? Just wait!

There will also be a sale this Friday for the infamous Black Friday, details to come so stay tuned!

A big thank you to all of you who shopped with us yesterday.After some research I am changing shipping to Canada. I had no idea the fees you can be charged alone just for receiving a delivery from UPS?? So all Canadian orders will be shipped Priority Mail now and rates have changed to reflect that.

Yesterday went pretty smooth and the site seems to slow down when we get a lot of traffic but we did not have any other issues.

Orders will begin shipping Oct 10th at the latest and if I can manage I will get them to you before that.

Just a quick note to let you know that the site is handling traffic pretty well and you may have issues adding items to your cart.

Carts are set to dump after a 60 minutes and if you see your size available and it gives you a "sorry try again later" message then it is most likely held in someone else's cart at that time and you will need to keep trying or try later.

I do not offer shipping refunds for multiple orders at this time. It is very time consuming for me to dedicate my time since I am a one woman show here, so thanks for understanding. Please just be patient with the site. There is plenty left and nothing is sold out yet.

I really do not have any way to make it easier on you and I would if I could, wish I was an internet whiz!

I had to change the release date due to some technicalities and we are releasing tomorrow - Tuesday is the day. Shopping cart will be turned back on sometime in the morning once I get my coffee going.

I have had such a tickle reading all of your sweet comments and emails and seems like we are growing! Which is always a good thing. With growing comes learning and after tomorrow I will have a better idea of what your favorite pieces are and we just might be able to do some backorders for those of you that miss out on what is available.

I am also going to ship to Canada using UPS not the postal service. I have had packages go missing this year and I need to be able to track them once they move into Canada so shipping will be slightly higher.

Maybe you have heard about all the new rage lately? The bento lunch box craze has bitten me and my daughter could not be happier! I really love hot lunch and always wanted it as a kid. Instead, my mother, a single mom of 3, would make me bologna and ketchup sandwiches with that generic cheese popcorn and apples....yay. Now I know why I loathe ketchup in every form. Since Ms. M hates hot lunch and insists on packed I figure why not try?

Just google bento and a you can find all sorts of shapers, molds and cutters. Yes it does take time but I am a creative person anyhow and this gives me an outlet. The 5th graders try to trade with her at lunch and I am sure soon she will ask me to stop making "cute" lunches.

I have been posting sneak peeks of Winter/Holiday over on FB so if you are not a "fan" yet click on the box to the left so you can be the first to see the pics! Your orders will ship in approx 2 weeks after you place them next week.

I am going to sew up some American Doll outfits for Ms. M for her birthday gift at her party this weekend. We are going to do tie-dye shirts at the party - not sure yet if that was a good or bad idea - I will get back to you on that one.

We are getting closer to the release of Sparkling Twilight and I am so excited to share! I have had a few emails on this little number and wanted to let you know these double ruffles are 100% cotton velveteen and not velour.

I also wanted to address some quality issues with dresses that have the extra ruffling. We have added elastic this time around to prevent the threads from unraveling and breaking when they are put on. This should prevent any unraveling and add some extra stretch to the pieces for our playful little ones.

We finally got to take a family vacation after all the family stuff that we had go on this year and we visited the "Happiest Place on Earth", yep Disneyland. We had a great time and now we need another vacation to recover.

Ever feel like you are just cant seem to catch up? Yep that is me this year, the theme for 2010.

The Winter/Holiday collection is under way and I should be able to share some sneaky peeks starting next week and I know you will love them!

Speaking of Holiday I was in a dept store tonight picking up some leggings for myself, thought I might actually try to pull the "look" off. My girls were a mess, running, chasing, throwing ice - yes ice from their cups - at each other and I was on my last nerve and the lady behind me pops in and says" I am one of Santa's elf helpers and you never know who is out there watching you so you better be good for your Mother". Wow , ok I have never seen them straighten up so fast and it worked like a charm in case you want to try it sometime and rescue some frazzled mom in the check out lane.

Can you believe Summer is over? Boo hoo, I may be ready for Fall but not Winter and always seems like our Falls here in Colorado get shorter every year and the Winters longer. I am not ready to give up my flip flops just yet.

Summer is nearing an end - against my wishes of course. I swear it has flown by so fast and I am not ready for it to end. Back to School on the other hand....can't come soon enough!

Falling

I have had several emails requesting information on the Fall line. I will not be releasing a Fall line this year and instead I am working on Winter/Holiday. I have just fallen so far behind in planning that I cannot catch up enough to get it out in time for you all to enjoy. So I figure why not get ahead of myself and now that things are quieter here in my family life that should be no problem :)

I would love to hear what is on your wish lists for your little ones for Winter and Holiday..cottons, knits, velours, ruffles, leggings oh my!

Can you believe it is almost time to go back to school? I do not even feel like we have had a Summer yet! I actually was a bit proactive this year and already bought her supplies. I absolutely hate the rush those last few days before school starts and going to 5 target stores looking for colored folders in every color imaginable. It can be draining and hey getting up every day is hard enough without adding the stress of supply shopping on top of it right?

The Christmas in July sale is still on and remember to please read the descriptions before ordering so we can save you the headache of exchanges. Sorry I have been MIA on here. Life has been rough lately and my Grandpa is finally at piece and no longer suffering. It is so very hard to let go but I know time is the only thing that will help now. I found this poem that really hits home and wanted to share....

Sorry for the delay with the Summer launch. You can never seem to predict things and of course they don't seem to go the way I would like them to lately. We will be bringing my Grandpa home from the hospital today and hospice will be able to help us take care of him and keep him comfortable. I do not want him to suffer any more but I am not ready to let go yet either. Such a hard thing to deal with that I can't find the words.

The site is completely updated with the Tranquility collection and I am hoping to have the site shopable tomorrow. I can't promise but it is my goal.

There have been a few changes in regards to the return policy and the shipping policy so be sure take a look at those too so there are no surprises :). The collection will also begin to ship May 28th.

I really would like to get the trunk program rolling too. I just can't seem to catch my breath. 2010 has been a year of unexpected events regarding my families health. My Grandfather has now taken a turn for the worse and I have always been close to him, he is more like a Father to me. I would do anything for him and can never repay him for all that he has given and done for me and my family. I am at a loss of words to explain the grief I am dealing with now but I am lucky enough to visit and help take care of him every day as long as I can. So with that being said, if I do "catch" my breath I will move forward and get the ball rolling as I know several of you have sent me emails of interest.

I really thought I was doing so well with my vitamins and eating right and exercising and then BAM I got Strep again! My 2nd time since January and the dr. thinks I am a freak of nature because only 1% of sore throats in adults are actually Strep. I had to beg him for a rapid test because I was so uncomfortable. Both times he returned with a "and you were right", isn't that so nice to hear?? I so hate being wrong, one of my weaknesses. I guess I should have played lotto since my odds are so in my favor, I would take a jackpot over Strep any day.

Guess what? Just updated the website with more Spring items that came in in some of the more popular pieces and sizes.

I think Summer will launch the week of May 14th, seems so far away to me but I know time will fly! So excited to show you the new styles and I love the bright colors! I did not add any women's pieces this collection. I am spread really thin now with family commitments and I needed to get to production so just like any other time lol I cut myself out.

I am sure you can all relate. My daughters have all new shoes to go with certain outfits and the new clothes too. But I can be walking around in shoes that clearly need to be donated or given a second life and the same goes for most of my wardrobe and handbags.

Hope you all had a great weekend. Spring break has come to an end for us here and back to normal, if that is what it is. Working on Summer still and I do not have a date yet but I do know it will be May. I need to come up with a name. I really love the bright cheery prints and cannot wait to share!

Puppy training is going well. Timing was bad but I guess you never can be ready for a puppy. My days are so busy and I cant leave her alone too long in the crate since we are training. She is full of energy and I wish I had half of her spunk!

Busy Bees

Been so busy around here totally hectic but quiet on here.

Finally named the dog and I can stop calling her "baby" as I settled on "Misha" - thanks Marnie send me an email for your thank you gift. So hard choosing and I loved them all!

The majority of orders have shipped and I will be finishing up today. Back ordered Charli tanks still have a wait. Huge thanks to my dear friend Stephanie for flying out here in a blizzard to come help. We got dumped on but it did not slow us down. She keeps me going when I want to take a break and play :)

Also thought I would post a photo of how the Paris Twirl dress fits and ties at the neck, just in case you are a bit confused as I am sure I would be. the flat front is the chest and the elastic is the back. Straps go over the shoulder, through the button holes and back up around neck like a halter. Pretty complicated but I promise you will love it!

Summer is also in full swing and I am in love with these fabrics! Hope to be able to share some photos in a couple weeks

Am I crazy?

really I must be, because I had several moments of weakness over the last week which resulted in this....

Yeah, she's the cutest. I promised my husband that we would have next to no accidents and I would work hard to train her. Must be some mid 30ish thing I am going through....choosing a puppy over having a 3rd child seemed much easier at the time.

So what is in a name? A name is who you are and really says a lot about your personality. I have several in mind for her but can't seem to settle on one. I think I am caught up in the business of Loves Me Not now and cannot focus, maybe there is a drink for that?

I have been quite the busy bee and not had much time to get back with emails and blog.

Working on Summer and have it all ready to go so stay tuned - lots of bright and fun prints!

My father-in-law also gets to come home today after 12 long weeks in the hospital. I can say that I am looking forward to spending family time in a normal atmosphere! My father and grandfather are continuing with their treatments and I have high hopes for both of them.

What a crazy day yesterday was. I am happy to say the cart functioned well and nothing was oversold. Some on you may have had issues grabbing some items on your wish list and had a challenging time if they were already in others carts.

I can honestly say growing pains stink, my fortune cookie totally lied today. Yeah I cheated on my diet and indulged in some Panda Express, one of my favorites and now I remember why I don't eat like that anymore.

So the site is experiencing much too traffic to handle now and for some reason certain pieces are locked up. I still have plenty but it wont allow shoppers to put them in their carts. Please be assured that there are more pieces left and even the Charli tank dress too. Tech support is looking into it and checking for server issues. Nothing is ever easy is it?

So with this I can say that internet sales are most likely coming to an end after this release and we will be expanding our program to trunk shows to make everything a bit easier, or not, knock on wood.

Sorry to be so quiet. My family life has been super crazy hectic this week and I really feel like I am loosing control....so just in case you are wondering, I would like to say Thursday the site should be live. I don't want to say Wed and then not have it all finished and I would rather give myself more time to finish loading it all up and I am still waiting on 3 images for the site too. I may just end up shooting the pieces myself and you will have to excuse my cruddy photography skills and oh yeah it is supposed to snow tomorrow so I have no clue what I am going to do.

The site shopping cart was also updated since the Holiday release and should be working great. However, like anything in life there are no guarantees, I can only hope and pray for smooth sailing so please be patient with our growing pains and pass me some Advil.

I will also have all the prices updated later on tonight too. Shipping will begin around the 23rd and I promise to be as fast as I can getting it to all of you, I know Easter is right around the corner.

This Sunday is already daylight savings, Spring ahead and loose an hour, the only thing I dislike about Spring is loosing one hour of sleep and trying to get my kids back on track for a whole week.

Isn't that photo just drool worthy? Gifted, mad skills both of them, wow. The tank dress starts at size 12-18 mos and goes up to 10 and I have an older daughter who just loved it when she paired it with her denim capris, so cute and not too girly for her.

On the subject of the simple shorties, they are just that "simple". I got an email asking why I did not add ruffles and well these are made to wear under skirts and dresses and ruffles in my opinion would not lay right under the skirt or dress and sometimes on a short this short they are not comfortable on the skin for little girls. So simple we are and stay tuned for Summer's collection where you fans can get your ruffle fix :).

I also hope to have an updated sizing section on the site for your reference before you order. Should make your planning a bit easier. Sizing is the same as before though the new items are sized differently such as 2 4 6 8.

Please be assured that I am working on updating my website. I hold many hats in the jobs of life and I still have to keep up the "mom" duties, hospital visits and Summer planning. Prices should be updated by tomorrow evening as I have had a lot of questions about that.

I am still hoping to launch Wed or Thurs, I would now if I could but I can't until I have the last photos I am waiting on. Oh and I did change a few item's names so sorry for the confusion, that's how I roll. Completed and utterly indecisive.

Aren't Sundays supposed to be lazy? I do not think I have had a lazy Sunday since last year and I am sure the next one coming will be most likely Mother's Day because that is when I call the shots!

I plan on having most images available on the site by Sunday and then I will add the last few as they come in before the release.

How is it that when you need to find something that is in a "pair" you can only find one? I despise laundry to the fullest extent. I have a sock basket that is full of mismatched socks. Every day I dig through the basket and sometimes I put my girls and even myself in mismatched socks. I get so frustrated digging and looking that I eventually give up and figure 2 white socks is close enough right?

There must be some place between here and no where that all the missing and lost gloves, shoes and socks go hang out. It always seems as if I am searching for lost mates of my families wardrobe.....there is only one consistent thing here and that is me. I admit I am terrible at laundry and putting things back in the spot they go. I get in a rush and put it back in the most convenient place at them time, that is how all the mates get separated.

Though there is one thing I have not been able to figure out and that is the mystery of missing socks. I believe they get sucked up by some magical force once they enter the wash to a far far away land. Just imagine mismatched socks running around and living the good life....now that is something to ponder.

And it is finally Thursday! I cannot wait for the weekend to be here for some family time! I love the way this photo turned out. Monica did a great job!

We are getting closer :). The collection consists of 18 total pieces and 2 matching women's pieces that makes it 20. Yeah I said small and I think I got carried away a bit but there will be plenty of styles to fit your taste.

I should have most pieces loaded up to the website so you can see them before the shopping cart gets activated mid week.

We have to go meet with an accountant today to do our taxes, one of my least favorite times of year. I am not a bookworm nor a math wiz I leave that up to Steve. I would rather go do cardio than go, and I do not like cardio. I so struggle with it and stare at the timer and no matter what I do I keep counting down the time until I can get off the machine.

Have any tips for a cardio workout that makes things a bit easier for you? Leave a comment and I will be sure to share some sweetness with one lucky lady.

I really don't like Monday's. I have a hard time getting back in to the swing of things after the weekend I am so not a Monday kind of gal.

I know a lot of you will be on Spring break during the release and I plan to have most of the images loaded to the website by next week so you can take a peek. Just a few more will be added the day before the release as I do not have the pieces in hand yet. The line will be available sometime mid week next week. It all depends on how fast I get a couple images back I will be holding on and trust me they are worth the wait! Items will begin to ship the week of the 22nd just in time for your Spring photos!

We all know we need to do it though I seem to procrastinate so much that it ends up being Summer and then well I am just to busy to worry about deep cleaning the depths of every corner of my house!

I am in the process of moving my office to a new space right next to my husband's, lucky me. So I have decided I have too much stuff and I need to gain a little bit more room. Me Time

Today I made the courageous trip back to the gym for some quality Me time. I have been MIA since the week of Christmas except for when I went on Jan 4th but one time does not count. Family life has been crazy hectic and I need to just jump back in. And since when are my legs made of jello? They are seriously aching now and I have a hard time walking, guess I can blame the person in charge who made me do the lunges and sumo squats.

I have also made a few upcycled dresses for my girls this week. I think they are really fun and wow what a great use for all of my t-shirts that magically all have holes in them on the same spot? What is with that? Can anyone tell me why every T I own eventually and sometimes only after a few "wears" acquires one or more holes on the waistline? So depressing when you spend $30+ on a cute blinged up tee only to have it get holes after a couple wears.

I also wanted to let you all know I have moved up and down in sizing. I will have some designs in 12 mos or 12-18 mos and some in size 10 girls as you all have requested.

Oh and thank you all for your kind thoughts regarding our family fish. I am standing strong and unless she finds me at a week point, I don't plan on getting another one for quite some time!

Only a couple more weeks until the site will be all updated and ready to go! The week of March 8th is the Cherish launch and I can hardly wait.

Leah did a wonderful job as always photographing some of the pieces. They have had "feet" upon "feet" of snow so we opted for some indoor shots which turned out so sweet! I just love this pattern. It is such a sweet dress with a vintage flair and of course 2 pockets for her treasures!

This week has been more than hectic here. Our beta fish Bronco decided to explore world outside of his fishbowl and I found the poor guy after church on Sunday. No jokes he must have been out of water for 2 hours and when I touched him he moved so I threw him back in. He only made for another 6 hours and then I had that doomed feeling of telling my oldest. She has such a soft heart and I thought since I took care of the fish maybe she would not notice...all us moms seem to take care of the pets they promise to help with right? Well the second she got home it was the first thing she noticed, guess I can't win.

I have also been working on Summer designs and I enjoy it so much because it reminds me that Summer will soon be here and I will not be freezing any longer. I miss my flip flops and deciding what color nail polish to wear. I would wear them in the winter if I did not think I would get frostbite.

So it's snowing again here. Just when it melts it comes right back and I am so ready for warm sun! Kids amaze me. Even if it is 10 below outside they insist it is warm enough to ride bikes. Now that is resilience! It will be nice when I can let the girls go play in our yard which is in permafrost until April.

On another note, "Cherish" will launch the week of March 8th. Once we get closer and I have all my ducks in a row I will pinpoint a date for you. It will all be available online through the website. I am not yet doing home shows or selling through consultants but we will int he near future.

The collection is a colorful blend of spring colors with lots of comfy knits and I have 5 new styles to share with you that are all my own and I know you will love them! My girls love soft knits and like to dress them up and so with an added bit of girlishness we all win!

I am so happy to be able to share some photos of what is to come! Kelly did such a wonderful job! This sweet little dress is sure to be one of her favorites and I love the vintage ruffle shrug too!

Spring will be released mid March and all of it ready to ship. These little pretties may be released early in a pre-release spring sale so you get them in time for your spring photos and most important Easter. Yes Easter I can't believe it that it is already coming. I am actually excited because Easter means warm weather is on the horizon and I am so over this cold dry weather here in Colorado.

Yum. Thanks to Erin for sending me some yummy sunshine in a box from AZ. My daughters love to bake and with things being so hectic lately it was a good excuse to make a mess of the kitchen that I forgot I even have. Homemade Lemon bars in the dead of a Colorado winter did us some good ;)

I also wanted to thank you all for your kind words and prayers. It is amazing how many wonderful people I have surrounded myself with and it reminds me of just how luck I am. My dad is recovering well after his 3rd and last surgery and now all we need is time. My father in law is still in ICU almost 5 weeks now. Gaining his strength every day and we hope to move him into a long term care facility this week. My grandpa is recovering from his heart attack and now receiving radiation treatments for the cancer that was discovered during his hospital stay. Certainly a challenge to have 3 very important men in my life all struggling at the same time with life threatening conditions. Really makes you look at life in a new light and be thankful for all that I have and all that I am.

January has been quiet the challenging month for me and my family. Spring planning has been a distraction and a good one at that.

Spring collection is in the works and as fried as my brain is I have decided to call it "Cherish". I have put a lot of work into it and it really reflects all that has happened here with my family in the last few weeks. Really bright and cheerful colors that scream Spring!

Wow it is already 2010 and I feel like I am so behind!

A lot has happened her in the last 2 weeks and since I have been MIA I thought I should let you all know what is going on.

Spring line is in production. I do not know when it will be ready but it will be available sometime late Feb to beginning of March. I will release it online and it will all be ready to ship before Easter in April :). It will be a smaller line with about 14 pieces but I know you will love it! Excited to share some brand new designs with all of you.

I have to commit a lot of my time this month to my family. My Father in Law had a massive heart attack just one week ago and remains in ICU. Things are very touch and go for us and though we know he is a fighter we are cautiously optimistic at this time. We know it will be a long road to recovery and pray we all have the stregth to get him there. I need to help my husband run our business as my mother in law needs to be there to take care of my father in law as he remains in the hospital.

My father will undergo 3 separate surgeries this month alone. He has advanced Parkinson's and will undergo DBS surgery to alleviate some of his symptoms.

My plate is full now and as much as I want to get the consultant program in place, I cannot take on another project at this time. I want to be sure I can commit myself to any new team members so the program is a success and give the consultants every opportunity to succeed.

I hope you all have had a wonderful start to your 2010! It certainly has been a rough start here for our family but I have faith we can all pull through this!

So I have slacked in the blog department. I have taken advantage of my "time off" and now I am having such a time jumping right back in.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We sure were blessed here in our household. I have spent more time with my girls this month baking cookies, sledding, ice skating and of course gift wrapping. I swear they could be asleep and here me pull it all out and then there they were right on top wanting to help :) I have to remind myself that they are only young once and a it is ok if it is not a perfectly wrapped gift.

Spring is on the horizon...at least clothing. Months more of winter here and have I told you how much I dislike the cold.

Should be exciting to share with you a few new patterns and some other surprises too!

and yet last and this week has been in the single digits here for us. If you are not from Colorado you would think that this is "normal" for us. We are all in shock over here. Snow usually lasts only a couple days on the ground before the sun comes back out to melt it and we are going on over 3+ weeks of ice and snow outside with these frigid temps. I get an F for effort in the outdoor decoration department this year from my oldest daughter. I am too darn lazy and hate the cold to go out and put any lights up, call me scrooge.

We did finally get around to finishing up the tree :) All 12' of glory! So much work for such a short time and I wonder what I was thinking when we bought this huge tree a few years back?

Slowly working on the Spring collection here. I can't lie and I am certainly enjoying this little break in between and getting caught up on things here at home. But I know I need to get a move on. Have some new designs coming that I am very excited about and I know you will love!

Back orders are in - yay! I worked so hard to get as many as I could to the post office yesterday, just over half. The remaining orders will go out tomorrow, so everyone's goodies will be 100% shipped! You will not necessarily get an email so don't panic if you did not get a notice. It is much faster for me sometimes to do it that way.

Can you believe the Holidays are upon us? I can't and Black Friday too! Last year we took both girls out with us, big mistake. I think I plan on going by myself this year those crowds are brutal and toting a stroller around makes it even harder.

Not much else going on here. Doing tons of housework to play catch up from the past few months and the local charities will love me for it. I finally gave up on the fact that some of my favorite jeans "pre pregnancy" would just never work. I am much to "hippy" and no matter what I do it comes down to genetics, darn science! But I must say how wonderful it feels to clean the closets! So refreshing and new and I can actually see what I have in there. And since I did mine why not the hubs and the girls and so on and now I have piles everywhere.

Sorry for the lame blog title but my creative juices today are on standby. I am looking forward to a slightly slower pace over here and of course my girls getting better. Man they just got over the crud #1 and a few days later here came crud #2 and we finally got hooked up with some antibiotics, the pink kind their favorite!

Things seem like they should have slowed down a bit but I have been busy with emails and such. If you are wondering were your tee is if you were affected by the website oversold items then they are coming soon. I am having them special made and once I get them in they will ship.

As for me I plan on getting the inventory on the site updated but I have a slew of size exchanges coming in and once the majority of those are addressed I will update the site. My guess would be early next week.

I also have a pretty pile of one of a kind knot tops, dresses and circle skirts from the fair that I want to share and not quite sure where I want to put them yet. I am not sure if the blog is the right place or etsy which only complicates things. So once I get photos I will be able to share.

I have received a few photos, please keep em coming. It just makes me smile to get a nice email with a cute little girl in it wearing LMN. Totally makes my day!

If you received an initial email from me and do not think you have received your refund yet please contact me and do so in a timely manner.

I have received a few emails regarding PayPal fees. Refunds are generated off of PayPal and no fees are taken out as long as they are refunded within 60 days or original payment. IF you paid by cc via PayPal then it will go back on your card. Refunds can take up to 5 days.

Appreciate all the kind words and patience in this process, wow I do not want to deal with this again.

On another note, we got hit with a major snow storm and got 25" of snow total with it still snowing a bit. My girls are still on the mend and not happy that they can't go out and play. I scored and had some neighborhood kids do all our shoveling for a $1 each but we gave them $15 to share. What can you even buy for a buck anymore?

That is so the truth for me this week - what gives?

This has been one trying week. My girls are both ill with the flu, not positive on what kind because the dr. office does not want to see them unless they are "extreme" by means of a temp of over 105, listless or dehydrated so I have no way of knowing if it really is H1N1 or not so best I can do is give extra snuggle time.

Last night we were hit with a storm which has since turned into a blizzard and I had no internet access until this afternoon and I am praying we don't loose power. If for some reason you have not heard from me yet and are still waiting then it is possible I lost power or will hopefully get to you tonight.

I am about 60% done issuing refunds and adjusting orders. Your patience has been appreciated and I am almost done and then the fun part begins of getting the orders to you.

I’d like to send out a big thank you to all of you for your love and support.

Today as I was preparing to pack and ship I came across an unfortunate event. The shopping cart on the website “oversold” certain items that I did not have in stock. I personally cannot explain the situation so I am including the email that was sent to me by Merchant Moms my webhost:

What happened was that there were more people adding items to the cart at the same time, and since they were simply added to the cart - not processed payments yet -- they didn't decrease inventory.

For example (and this is only that);

Customer A - shops around, puts items in the cart, continues browsing
Customer B - puts the same item in her cart
Customer C - puts the item in the cart *and* checks out
Customer A & B check out with what they already had in their cart (even if customer C already beat them to it).

This is not something we dealt with with the Fall release. The site had over 7,100 site visits on Friday alone. I would like to send my sincerest and deepest apologies to each of you that is affected by this problem. I have been working hard to resolve the issue. Some of the items that were oversold can be included in the new production run with the backordered items that were sold on the site.

Items that were oversold are being prioritized by order number.

If you do not receive an email from me then your order is fine and there are no issues. If you receive one from me please respond in a timely manner so I can get moving on what needs to be done whether it is a refund or adding you to the back order list. I should have all emails sent out to those that are affected by 10 pm tomorrow night (Tuesday).

During this process, I will be unable to answer emails as I will be focusing on the issue at hand.

Once I have resolved this issue, shipping will resume. I need to be sure I have all my ducks in a row before I start to ship orders out. I would guess I can resume shipping later this week. Thank you for your patience and understanding. This is something that was completely out of my control and I had am just sick over the entire situation. I am so sorry.

Ok so I think I am going for the gold medal in most blog posts in one day. For me this is the easiest way to notify you all of any updates or changes.

I am going to have more or the Sugarplum and Holly Lap Dresses made along with the Cream Brulee Leggings. Estimated shipping time of 4 weeks.

The Winter Blush is not going to be available for back order and either will any of the Fall items.

I have to say thank you all so very much for your support. I am blessed and so happy to share my designs with each of you and your little ones.

I have received some emails with some interest on the Holiday Lap Dresses. What has sold will ship out soon. I am thinking about taking orders on these since so many of you missed out. If you are interested in either of the dresses you can post here or send me an email. Shipping would be approx 4 weeks so just in time for the Holidays. If I have enough interest I will add them to the site and get rolling. If you order in addition to these I will ship the other in-stock items and then ship the dresses when they are ready

I had a couple emails asking about the shopping cart and shipping. Once something is in your cart it is not necessarily yours until you check out. However, please be aware that I will be unable to refund shipping if you have more than one order. I apologize I can't go through every order to refund shipping charges. Being one person here I have to keep my time open to ship your orders and answer questions.

Also did you see the cute matching shoes that match the Holiday line? So cute and my girls love them1 I know I am not in the shoe business but when it comes to matching up for the Holidays I can say that this may make it a little bit easier.

Midnight Oil

Ok so in the essence of not torturing anyone and sleep depriving you too (our kids have that job already) I have decided to wait until tomorrow morning. I just cannot get these images to load correctly for me and I am not a computer whiz, that is for you left brain types. I so wish I had an internet whiz with me now because I am worn.

So I will continue to work on it and I wont play any "tricks or treats" on you and go live in the middle of the night, that just would not be fair. So my best guess would be sometime tomorrow morning around 9am MST so you Pacific Coasters can sleep in a bit and the East Coasters can get their morning errands finished.

I also plan on answering everyone's emails at some point but I am so swamped right now that I have to apologize if I do not get an answer back to you before you order. I did update the sizing chart and it includes pants and lap dresses now too so hope that helps.

I have the cutest women's tees and since I did not get them photographed my attempts at doing so is terrible. I am a sucker for tees, any style long or short. I am not a shoe nor a purse girl either. I so wanted to share them with you but the silver logo on the front does not photograph so if you are interested in seeing a not so perfect photo email me and at some point next week I can send one to you - they are so comfy too!

One last note on a few questions that have been asked. The cranberry velour ruffles are not the same as last years. Last years were crimson red and these are a true cranberry wine color so not to confuse :)

Ok so I am trying to get through all of this today but things just have to be "so" and I need to update the sizing information, add all the inventory now that it is counted and still load up some photos. They are appearing too small and I want them a bit larger.

So for now just an update to let you know at best it would be tonight but no promises because if I loose my patience and it takes longer it will be tomorrow.

The Waiting Game

Ok so I can defiantly tell you the site wont be live tonight. Tomorrow is possible but tonight just isn't in the cards. I am dealing with trying to resize the gallery photos so you can view the pretties a little larger. So go ahead and run your errands and have dinner with the kiddos, as I seem to rarely do that anymore and they will grow up and move out right before your very eyes if you don't sit still every once in a while.

I thought I should touch on one little subject since I have gotten a few emails :). Some of these items are in very limited quantities. I really do wish I had more but they were not intended to be a part of the Holiday line and were intended for the fair, I just got them a little late so now I can share them with you online. Some of the items in very limited quantities are the blue lap dresses, the blush dress, silver velour ruffles and the all dolled up top in espresso. A couple of these items also only come in sizes 2 4 6 so maybe this will help a bit with your decision making.

I also wanted to let you all know I am adding a sizing section to the top of the site. So if you are new and have not ordered before you can find some simple sizing information her (still in the works).
And a special shout out to Monika and Leah who did my photographs for the Noel line. I am always amazed by how beautiful the photos can be. I just do not have the patience to do them myself so I am blessed to be surrounded by such talent. Thank you ladies!

"Noel" in the Rockies

So today seems fitting as it is snowing outside here in the Rockies, third time so far this season. It seriously is a winter wonderland here and I still have not taken my girls for our annual pumpkin patch visit. Our local Safeway might have to be the substitute this year and I can top it off with a visit to Dairy Queen to make it all good.

Holiday collection "Noel" will be available this week. I am working hard on updating the site and I will post here before I go live so be sure to check back. My guess is sometime late late tonight or by Friday. I know I am sorry I wish I could be more specific but working from home with unpredictable interruptions is a hard thing to predict. And I still have my 7 year old's poodle skirt to finish up - yep she loves me.

Everything is here in my hands and will begin to ship on Monday :) including the remaining Mish Mash pieces which I think you will be happy to see. I also have some very limited quantity lap dresses in the blue and a blush pink that will be online and modeled by my lovely class act mannequin, so please forgive me.

Egg Rolls anyone?

I can honestly say my feet have never ached more in my life. Not when I wore the "pretty" shoes on my wedding day and not even when I walked miles when I was pregnant with my first and attempting to get labor started. Wow. I seriously need some spa love this week.

The fair was great, my first with Loves Me Not "fair" and a great experience. Wonder what they ever put in food at these fairs? They don't let you bring food in and I certainly am a terrible liar because the front security caught me with my bag of McDonald's breakfast. My stomach is paying for it and I blame it on the veggie egg rolls.

For the contest, thank you for your wonderful stories. I love the holidays and each and everyone of your stories was a blessing to read. Took me back to my childhood. I used a random number generator and winner is post Number 26 "Tracy". Send me an email with your size and I will send you some goodness :)

As for the Holiday collection, I will have it up this week. I cant give you an exact day, but I will give you fair notice here. As soon as I have all of the photos ready to go and all of my sorting and counting done the site will be updated. I will also be adding what I have left of the Fall line Mish Mash. I have several, more than several, one of a kind pieces that I made for the fair that are left and not sure where I will share them yet - the site or etsy, but I will let you know.
For now I will share a couple sneak peeks ....

Winter is here!

Well I took some time today to update the blog a bit and give it a Holiday twist :) I also had to add my own very favorite classic holiday music - I love holiday tunes from the "olden days" as I call them and just cant seem to get enough of them!

I am busy getting ready for the fair later this week and it runs from Thursday to Sunday so if you live in the area and stop by come say hi we will be in booth 104 main building.

Speaking of Christmas, can someone tell me what happened to my Fall? My trees in the yard are completely barren and void of all the colorful leaves. In fact they had barely just started to change and boom we were hit with a cold snap that froze them all off and now the trees are bare. Luckily I had enough brains to pull the tomatoes off of the plant and now I will attempt to ripen them in the house - I need all the luck I can get as I am not a gardener.

My grand plan in the scheme of things is to have the still unnamed Holiday collection up and ready to go next week - yes next week along with the remaining Mish Mash items. I have a few ideas in my head and I am sure by the end of tonight I will be inspired. Hope to be able to post some sneak peeks this weekend!

Oh and I am feeling like I would love to do a giveaway and I really have no reason but just for fun! So since I now have Holiday music on here, leave me a comment with your favorite Holiday memory and I will choose a lucky winner later this week.

My little Savvy girl giving us a big thumbs up from the field amidst all the drama. Yes drama. Have you ever been to a soccer game with 3-4 yr old boys and girls? It is quit entertaining, and not only because my daughter is playing on the team. There is always a few kids on both teams that are just a tad cranky and it is hilarious to see how they react on the field when the ball is kicked the other way or the other team scores.

Wow what a month September was and we are already a week into October. Seriously at this rate Christmas will be here in no time!

All of you have gotten your orders by now and I appreciate all the sweet emails with photos, I just love to see them!

Working like a mad woman to get ready for the fair next week - I remember saying I had 8 weeks to go and somehow the 8 became 1 and now I am in panic mode. I have a fancy new cutter now so I can cut a whole bunch of goodness at one time and my goal is to avoid being cut myself as anyone who knows me knows I am clumsy.

I hope to have Holiday ready to go by the end of the month and it will all be ready to ship, no waiting time on production. I also switched manufacturers for the Holiday line and the quality is superb! I only have one little sneak to share with you now and it really isn't much but it gives you an idea....lots of deep reds, olive greens, creams and rich browns and even some velvet!

The fair will have items from the Mish Mash line, some one of a kinds and what I have of the Holiday line as well. Anything that I have after the show will go up online around the 19th this month so be sure to check back!

Doing the Happy Dance

Yep, that's me. So happy to say I am officially done sending out all of your pretties as of yesterday. Everything is in your hands or in the mail. Took a bit longer for me than I had predicted but now I know for next time right?

Holiday is in the works and also getting busy for the local fair here I am doing. Send me an email if you plan on attending and I can send you a flyer to save you a whole whopping $2 on your admission...courtesy of the Jr. League.

All remaining Mish Mash inventory will be available for purchase after the fair on my website around the 19th of October, and there just may be some other goodies you have not seen before too :)I have to say that I adore all of the wonderful photos I have been greeted with in my in-box. Can a designer be so lucky to have such cute shoppers? I am one lucky gal!

Miles of Smiles

I am just about done! My goal was to get everyone's packages out by Friday and I have about 20 left. Please send me an email if you have any questions to lovesmenot@comcast.net. The remaining orders will all ship Monday. Shipping took twice as long as I had guessed but everything has to be checked over and neatly packaged before it gets out to you.

I have the best shoppers around! I really am fortunate. I would not be where I am today if it were not for you so thank you ! And thank you for your patience. Part of starting and growing as a new business is learning and discovering new ways to handle things and we are getting there I promise!

Holiday line is in the works and the entire line will all be ready to ship and available on line sometime late October. Talk about immediate gratification! I also plan on rolling out the trunk show program for our Spring line and not Holiday.

After any exchanges I have to handle I will be doing a local fair here in 3 weeks and whatever I have left from the fair and fall line will be available online the week of Oct 18th.

On another note I love to see all of your sweeties in their LMN so if you have a photo you would like to share send it to my email :)

Work in Progress

I have been a bit quite because I have been busy tackling this....

so I can get it to you as quickly as possible. I guess I can say this is honestly a growing pain in the process. WOW. I swear I turn the lights out go to bed at a much too late hour and then come back downstairs in the morning and the clothes have multiplied!

I have had some more than wonderful helpers come by to bless me with their free time or not so free time and help with the sorting and folding into the wee hours. Thank you ladies I can not thank you enough for your help!
Most of you should get a shipping notification via the USPS website as we enter your information. I am still shooting for the goal of having this all out by Friday. Off to work!

Late Nights

Isn't this photo the yummiest? Who does not love a good cupcake? I love them even more than cake or ice cream!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

I am busy getting every one's orders sorted and nicely packaged and the first round of shipments are in the mail :). I plan on having everything to all of you and in your little hands no later than next Saturday.

I did not realize just how much we have grown and with that comes of course the "growing pains" and wow I am meticulous and love the items to be perfectly packaged when you get them.

No for the weekend and my daughter's sleep over. I know not good timing and my party guests will have to "oversee" the sorting facility my dining and living rooms have become. How on earth did I let her talk me into a sleepover? I guess I remember them growing up and trying to stay up as late as possible and telling stories, ah the stories! Let's just hope the girlies have a busy Saturday and don't stay up past midnight because after that I cannot make any guarantees that I can stay awake after such a busy week!

Things are moving right along. I have been super busy getting ready to get all of your Fall orders to you, working on Holiday samples and of course the art fair I am doing here in Denver next month. I don't know if I am coming or going and seriously look at my pincushion because this is what I feel like now....complete chaos :)

On the subject of Motherhood, what kind of mother allows her 3 yr old to fall asleep on the stairway? Me I guess. Riddled with guilt and I am going to have to make up for it big time after this week is through! Don't worry I moved her to her bed but left her here long enough for a quick photo. My oldest will be turing 7 this week too, I guess I don't have the best timing so Mommy will have to do her best in making her birthday extra special!You are all patiently waiting on your Fall orders and Mish Mash will start to ship tomorrow - yay! I cannot wait to get it to you and see all the wonderful pictures! I really poured my soul into this collection and have spent so much time on it. Orders are all coming through the US postal mail via priority so you get it nice and quick.

On the subject of replenishing the site with the Mish Mash items. At this time I am not going to be adding any additional items. However, I have a lot of items that are part of the collection that will be available at the fair along with Holiday and some rare one of a kind pieces too. I thought I would let you all know what you are waiting to hear and that is that orders will ship the week of September 14th. Yep, my dining room will soon transform into an assembly line complete with little helpers and plenty of fun. That's the best part, the anticipation of getting all of the goodness to you and then come the photos!

As for restocks, I do not plan on offering restocks at this time. I am going to be doing my first "fair" on October 14th-17th here in Denver. I am going to offer some pieces from the "Mish Mash" collection, some one of a kinds you wont see on the website and my Holiday collection as well. After the fair, I will restock the website with what I have to offer.

Holiday line will be available in early October and the best part is that it will all be ready to ship! No waiting to get your goodies. It will all be pre made here in the wonderful USA and ship the week I have it all up. I also hope to have a traveling trunk program in place at that time as well.

By the Books

Ok so I may not be the best or fastest blogger but I am trying ;)

I am very busy working on orders, a trunk program and planning a Holiday line so you can imagine how haywire it can get around here. Blogging is important but not always at the top of my list. And yes I still do make some of the items you have ordered myself.

I am really going to be the multi-tasking queen come next week. Not only do I have Loves Me Not to oversee but now just like all of you dynamic woman out there I too will become the Soccer Mom. Practice 2x a week with 2 girls and games on the weekend. Will certainly be an adjustment on top of the homework and play dates and yes of course the sewing.

School is back in full swing and I am back to entertaining my 3 year old as I work here at home. Not the easiest thing to do, she can only count and sort so many buttons. Though I think I will take the entertaining over the bickering any day of the week. Siblings do like to bicker! I had 4 sisters growing up and I can say that I do not remember arguing or teasing as much as my girls do, but must be my short term memory? Sisters are great and I am only so lucky to have 4 wonderful ones within an arms reach any time I need them.

Catching Up

That is what I have been doing, besides working on getting Mish Mash all lined up and some other tidbits.

I promise to answer each and every one's emails, it is jut taking some time to sift through it all. And WOW, I am so happy to hear about how many of you would like to possibly join the team! Really truly excited and I can't wait to share once it is all finalized. I want to be sure it is just right and I am not one to rush things.

I am also working on finishing up our traveling trunk program. If you are interested in hosting a show shoot me an email and I will get back to you. Who doesn't love getting free stuff? And that is just a part of it. I am settling on what Mish Mash pieces to include as well as Holiday.

September is just around the corner which means kids are in school, the leaves start to change and I can savor the crisp cool fall air I love so much. Holiday line will soon be in the works and I plan on having everything ready to ship so you can get your hands on the goods quicker, it's all about immediate gratification. Tell that to my husband. When I see something I want it now, I am not so good at waiting. Kind of funny how I am on that other side now huh?
